The Wood River Land Trust has given its most prestigious award, the Founders’ Award, to ELAW Staff Attorney Liz Mitchell.
A long-time resident of Hailey, Idaho, Liz served on the Trust’s Board of Directors from 2005 until October of last year. She acknowledged the award by saying, “I am honored to be considered among the people who have made a lasting contribution to the success of the organization.”
Wood River Land Trust Executive Director Scott Boettger says, “Liz’s legal expertise and dedication to the conservation mission of [our organization] was a true bonus to our efforts during the past seven years… She went above and beyond in her service [and] the Wood River Land Trust is a better and more professional organization thanks to her.”
Liz recently relocated to Seattle with her husband and has been a staff attorney for the Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide since 2007.
